Puppy fun at Pinkmas

Sydney and Lola have fun
The dogs always enjoy opening their gifts. Each dog has taught the next dog how to do this. Lola , the Yorkie, was my Mom in law's dog and we have her now that his mom has passed away. Lola is into it the most as she really loves to play with toys. Sydney-Marie just likes to tear the tissue up not really thrilled with toys as much

Something new for the tree

An ornament I made for tree this year of lace and ribbons, leftover silk from draperies. Always fun to add new holiday decor to freshen things up
I hate to sew so I usually make things using glue.
This tussie went on my biggest tree the swan tree.

Glittery pink nutcracker

This wonderful creation is from an Etsy shop. I asked for a glittery pale pink nutcracker and here he is!
The shop is called Shazam101 here is the link .
Florence does custom ones and has other ones on line. I hope to order more from her in the future to add to my nutcracker collection.
I am already dreaming of a PINK holiday!!

Swan Christmas

My swan had to be floating on snow bien sur!

My china obsession continues! While on a home tour in Madison, Georgia a few weekends ago I saw these lovely Lenox plates on a table. She had many years of them. I loved the 1994 plate with the cute Santa and toys. So I started looking on Ebay and bought 8 plates a few are duplicates ( I got two of the two I really loved) and I got to use them for a small dinner party we had the other night. Lenox Winter Greeting is another holiday pattern I like because it has birds and flowers on it not so just for Christmas..
My swan tree is near the dining room so the swan tureen makes sense. I bought that on EBay and it arrived in pieces--the value is ruined and I can't use it for food- Pink Boy glued it back together ! It is fine as a centerpiece.,  I have one more dinner party planned for Christmas Eve with dear friends it will be fun.I think the swan tureen will also be a part of that tablescape.

Pinkmas touches in master bedroom

Making things merry and bright and pink in the master bedroom. I love to turn the twinkle lights on and just sit in there and enjoy all the pretties. I add something each year. And Costco roses with some cranberries in the vase made a pretty bedside table arrangement.

Pink holiday

My holiday is very pink, and it just keeps getting Pinker( is that a real word?) and I love it more each year. I ordered fabulous wrapping paper and tags from Paulette at Paper Nosh and wrapped many empty boxes with the lids wrapped separately so I can reuse the boxes and not waste the lovely French style paper.
I use a mix of real and fake greenery.
My swan sleigh holds a lot of presents.I knew I would use the huge stuffed swan I bought at Toy R Us years ago.I adore swans and so did Marie Antoinette-- I look for swan tureens and planters.

White for Pinkmas

Even though I am totally into pink I also love white. Love doing all white pearls and swans on the mantel in master bedroom and lots of white pearls and white lights on one in formal living room.I added the white feathered wings to the master bedroom this year.
My Marie Antoinette tree is also all white with some pink and silver and the big swan in the sleigh that holds gifts by my huge swan tree is also a touch of white. White makes everything pop and feel light and fresh,
