I got the macaron tea towel framed and added it to my want to be pastry shop kitchen. The other sign I have had for a few years. Still working on my pastry shop look.

J'adore Jane Austen and reading

 Love love love to read

Reading is a passion of mine. I love reading on a Kindle and reading regular books. Since I adore Jane Austen I think I should save up and buy this set of PINK Jane Austen novels. They would fit in perfectly in my boudoir.I return to her works again and again. Men should read them and pay attention to the male heroes in her novels and  learn a thing or two about manners and how to court a lady.

One of my favorite books is Tea with Jane Austen by Kim Wilson( Amazon) full of fun facts and tea information.

French yum

The French word for yum is Miam and it seems there is a pastry shop by that name in Paris. I will have to check it out next year when I am there. Pink Boy has said we will go for sure in 2013. Life is too short not to travel while you are healthy and can walk a lot!

So till I can sample all the macaron and pastries at Laduree and Miam and Pierre Herme I must console myself with these lovely photos.

Pink macaron and pink kisses

I love the little bags of pink meringues from Laduree--I used to call those kisses not sure what the French call them. I love pink macaron and Laduree and Pierre Herme always have new flavors/parfumes to go with the change of seasons.
 The last photo is one I found on flickr just such a pretty color I wonder if those are rose flavor? I do like rose flavorings and often add rose to creme brulee or iced teas. Join in on Pink Saturday at:

Laduree for me!!

I adore Laduree  I adore everything about  it-- the pretty shop, the logo, the pastries, the food, the ribbons, the carriage vendor cart in the airport in Paris, the totes and the gift items.

Since I did not get to go to Paris this year I wanted to bring some Laduree to me!! Greedy Pink Girl!

Japan has several Laduree shops now and they often get things before other countries or different things. I bought these two Laduree scarfs and the little makeup tote from Japan. Things arrive quickly from Japan to US addresses. The swan scarf was  irresistible to me since I love swans so much and swans also remind me of ballet which I also love.

So until I can go to Laduree I had it come to me!

I just discovered these macaron trinket boxes-- tres chic and practical.If you can't get to Paris for a Laduree macaron this is next best thing. A very Pink Girl thing to have! I love all the colors especially the pink, bien sur!
