Today I realized I had saved so many white images related to couture. Enough for a pretty post! That last image of the huge ruffle and detailed top is so amazing It really is sculpture in soft form. I would love to be a little bee in the workroom watching the seamstresses create clothing like that. Couture is truly amazing and it is on my to do list to attend a fashion show in Paris sometime.

Je suis desole...

I have been searching for the perfect PINK handbag all summer. High and low prices, designer not designer etc and finally found this Miu Miu bag that looks perfect and I love the shade of pink.

 I wanted a soft pink not fuchsia

Pink Boy said go ahead and order and I went on Miu Miu website and it says sold out!!  I am really sad about that.

 If anyone sees this bag in pink,of course, please email me through this blog and let me know where I can buy it.

It is such a ladies who lunch on Upper East Side kind of bag.Not that I am one of those ladies but it is fun pretending from time to time. It is just a great bag shape wise and not too much hardware etc perfection especially in pink. Have a Pink day!  

MA Monogram china

I love collecting these things with my monogram( MA) on them. They are hard to come by and often out of my price range. I lucked out on the little tray I found that in a Japanese store on line. The top cup and saucer is a dream one that I will bid on but probably not be able to buy. The prices tend to go up up up.

All these years later we still love the monogram of Marie Antoinette!! She still intrigues us.

Snowflake Marie Mouser has a fun Pink Saturday

Snowflake-Marie is about 3 now. I adopted her last year from Good Mews no kill cat shelter in Marietta. I now volunteer there every week.

Snowflake is a very outgoing cat she loves to be around people, and she loves to wear her bows and watch the butterflies and birds. I am so in love with all of my cats and dogs-- I never understand why people would not want a pet. So much love and joy in return for food and care.

She is a princess and has one green eye one blue. She is unique just like a Snowflake.I love that she is pink and white--little pink nose and toes.

French style master bath and Show and Tell Friday

My master bath is an on going project. Last year right before Christmas Pink Boy made a side for the tub and added details from Do It Yourself Chic. It covered all the tile and made it look more French.

Now I just added two lamps they are old figurine ones a man and a woman. It gives me more light since only one window in the bathroom.

I use cups and trays for storage on my vanity. Someday I want to add pretty faucets.

Le'ts move to Paris...A dream is a wish your heart makes!

"Let's  move to Paris!" is what I would say if I won the lottery! It is my dream to live there. I would buy a small apartment there and enjoy the parks, monuments, style and culture that makes Paris  the most wonderful city in the world.

Herbs from the Potager

I have a small potager in the back behind the privacy fences. My husband made it for me a few years ago. My herbs are doing very well back there snoozing away with the tomatoes and eggplants. It is still a great joy to me to see the plants grow and produce veggies. Since I love all things French of course my garden would be a French one in style at least.

I love to get my pink wooden trug and go back to harvest herbs. I took these to a friend tied up and placed in a little bag. 

Tea towels are so French and these two caught my eye. Both are pink and chic. I may never really use them but I will see them in the kitchen. It is important to make the everyday pretty, pink and somewhat practical. It is pink living!
