Souffle-Marie is a Princess!

We always knew she was and now she wears her tiara proudly. Sometimes she is weary of her Princess duties and falls asleep with the crown on.

Souffle-Marie, my sweet, shy, little -love, came to me from Good Mews Cat Shelter.

 I volunteer there now and see many lovely cats and kittens. If you want a wonderful cat come visit Good Mews. Their fundraiser is a big flea market-- it is still going on every weekend through May 12th

Come to the flea market and help save a life

My kitty girls and I would love for those of you who live locally ( Marietta GA) to stop by the flea market. It runs every weekend through early May. All proceeds go to support the Good Mews no kill cat shelter. I adopted two of my cats from there and was so impressed I have been volunteering there for almost 2 years. It is a top notch shelter and we place so many lovely cats who would otherwise be killed. No nice way to say it. Good Mews saves lives over 300 a year. 

Being kind to animals is so important to me.

Be Mine vintage Valentine cards

I've been collecting old pop up Valentines and I was very lucky to find these two unusual ones.

The carriage one reminds me of France or England and the other one is Mary Poppins and Bert! So fun. I love how detailed they are and just so pretty. It is a little fantasy in your hand. I am so glad that whomever got these didn't throw them away. I will enjoy them for years to come.

Happy Valentine's Day hope you have someone to love. Pink Boy is always my Valentine and one of the male cats Bobby, at Good Mews no kill cat shelter is my other Valentine. I will take him some treats. He would really love a forever home.

Snowflake Marie Mouser has a fun Pink Saturday

Snowflake-Marie is about 3 now. I adopted her last year from Good Mews no kill cat shelter in Marietta. I now volunteer there every week.

Snowflake is a very outgoing cat she loves to be around people, and she loves to wear her bows and watch the butterflies and birds. I am so in love with all of my cats and dogs-- I never understand why people would not want a pet. So much love and joy in return for food and care.

She is a princess and has one green eye one blue. She is unique just like a Snowflake.I love that she is pink and white--little pink nose and toes.

Welcome Souffle-Marie another kitty baby joins us

Miss Souffle-Marie her first day in her forever home

She is thinking about her new life with us!
Souffle-Marie
When this sweet, calm 5 year old female Himalayan came into the shelter last week I just instantly knew I would take her home. She was first with an older couple and the wife died and she came into Good Mews before I volunteered there. She was adopted out quickly (she is friendly and quiet) and all went well until the woman's grandchild moved in and then this pretty girl was not happy with a youngster around.
My other two cats are sweet and laid back and I knew they would be fine with just one more sister. Good Mews is a wonderful place to adopt a loving cat. They just got a grant from Doris Day animal foundation but donations are always welocme.

I named her Souffle-Marie since she is light and airy and sweet like a perfect souffle.We love her already. She fits into our pink world.
