Oh how I love this time of year. So many pretty blooms in my garden. Hope your garden is in fine form.

Spring blossoms

Cardoon

Spring is here in my garden things ready to go POP! Apple blossoms on the tree along the side path

and my new plant a cardoon is huge. I hear it blooms only every few years. It is in artichoke family and sort of resembles that plant. Everything the blooms is pink or white.Perfect weather here today.Hope it is where you are.

I love white. Pink is tops to me of course, but white is great . I thought you might enjoy a peek at my peonies they just popped open this week. Not all of them, just the white ones.

This fine fellow says," Come on in to the Spring garden lovely blog friends!" It is almost peony and sweet pea time.

Isn't he charming? So French, non? He is an inkwell when he is not ushering people into the garden.

Cherry snow sweet but fleeting

My Yoshino is in full bloom and when the breeze hits it petals fall in a cascade of pale pink. I love to stand under it. Depending upon the light- sometimes the petals on the tree look white and sometimes pale pink. They are a very pale pink on Yoshino. I am going to get a wire garden bench and place it under the tree it is a good shady spot and then next spring I can sit on it and watch the petals dance.

How I wish they lasted longer--but then again maybe it would not be so precious to me.
