Still thinking about bath rooms

I still have bathrooms on my mind. I saw the above bathroom in Better Homes and Gardens Beautiful Baths magazine. I love the painted sink and the tub alcove. Of course I love the pink and green color scheme.

I also read in my research on bathing at Versailles (see yesterday's post) that sometimes the tubs had a canopy of fabric around them for privacy as well as protection from drafts. Louis XV really brought bathing on a more regular basis to France.

I have pretty swan faucets in the guest powder room. Someday I want to get the rose quartz Sheryl Wagner faucets for the master bath! They are lovely. Of course they will add another touch of pink!
