Japanese cherry blossom time

Aahh... take a moment to breathe to relax.
Look at the swooping shape of the roof lines and the soft pink of the blossoms.
Someday Japan I will visit you and enjoy the beauty that is all around.

Easter joy

It is always fun to put my Easter things out. It is amazing what one can find at HomeGoods! Lots of bunny items.
And see the teeny tiny white bunny cookies! Sooo cute those I bought from Etsy shop called Picket Fence Confections so yummy buttery taste with vanilla.
We are in the final 'hop" toward Easter. My cards are mailed, my new PINK Easter dress is ready to be worn and my heart is full of joy.
Renewal ,rebirth, love, forgiveness what is not to like about Easter?

Petit Hameau ...Versailles

This delightful watercolor drawing of Marie Antoinette's Petit Hameau in spring makes wish I could step right into the painting!
How I would love a mini farm with fluffy sheep on ribbon leads and little fat cows, swans and fancy chickens!
I'm glad Marie Antoinette had her fantasy farm and could escape the stiff court rules and back stabbing and retreat into her simple little farm.
What an Easter delight it would be to enjoy  visiting the Petit Hameau at Versailles,

Pink Easter

My Easter decorating is fun and very pink , of course!
I always order yummy Easter cookies from cookie makers on Etsy.
I add new stuff to my baskets every year. I like to dye eggs and take paper mache eggs and cover them in fabrics and ribbons.
We are finally warming up here and it is beginning to feel like Spring!

CWC jewelry dream

I'm dreaming of buying this for myself
I like large statement pieces. I am really not a necklace person but I have long admired Clara Williams jewelry. You can switch out the center stone or gold piece or wear the necklace without a center stone.
I am saving up to buy the chunky pink quartz center piece and I like these two necklaces but can only afford one.

Which do you prefer for me?
I wear a lot of fairly formal day clothing.
I wear a lot of black, pink and grey. I love pearls. Give me your thoughts if you have a moment.

Almost cherry blossom time!

I love sakura time! I love my Yoshino cherry tree. I love to eat pink food! Drink pink tea! I'm getting ready for a sakura saturation going to make food and  view trees. I would love to go to Japan at cherry blossom time.  I've purchased cherry blossom flavoring, dried flowers and honey syrup pretty much everything in photo below. Ready to rock a pink cake!

Why don't I have this?????

The car that I have always wanted is an Aston Martin.
Love their style and quality and you do not see them everywhere.
At last year's Concours d' Elegance in Pebble Beach CA. they showed the Q model with a pink interior and pink matching luggage.
Be still my heart! I love the car's sleek lines and that pink interior would make me feel like I was in a cloud or a cherry blossom tree or marshmallow! I really love it.
Today I bought a lottery ticket something I rarely ever do.

Passion has become an obsession

The wonderful candle company Nest has a new fragrance called Passion. I believe that scent was released around October for breast cancer fundraising. I love the Nest bamboo candle ( doesnt smell like bamboo to me just fresh and yummy) and since the newer one was a deep pink and had peonies on the box I got one.
Well, now I am obsessed with the scent and want to burn the candles all the time. Even Pink Boy thinks it smells delightful. One candle burning for a little while scents my entire house for hours.
I love a good smelling home.

Jane Austen, Iggy Azalea and Johnnie Lee Miller

 Emma
 Clueless 1995

Iggy Iggy too biggie to be Clueless Its an homage to Emma

Fancy music video

Everything old is new again... eventually. As a Jane Austen fan I love rereading her books and seeing the latest movies based on her novels.
My favorite movie is Emma, the UK version with Romola Garai and Johnnie Lee Miller as Emma and Mr. Knightly .
In the 90's we had an updated film version called Clueless with Alicia Silverstone as the "Emma" character now called Cher and the late Brittney Murphy as Cher's work in progress.
Skip ahead 19 years and you have the Iggy Azalea music video of Fancy paying homage to Clueless. Wonder what Jane would make of all this?
Got all that? whew...
