Wedding wishes

I love to wrap gifts especially wedding gifts! My beautiful niece is getting married to her prince this Saturday. The gift is wrapped- I sprinkled some love glitter on it for extra special love to last a lifetime.

She will be a beautiful bride.

I harvested my first eggplant yesterday. Of course I had to carry it in my pink trug from the potager to the house. I don't really eat them. I just think they are cool ,very pretty, feel like dolphin skin and this variety has a hint of lavender on it. I love the white ones. They are hard to find around here.

So I tied a bow on it and am enjoying it in a bowl in the kitchen. I hope the plant makes a few more.

Do you ever wonder why you are attracted to certain things? I can't get enough swans, ballet images, white furniture-interiors, old French writing/letters, peonies, pink dresses and shoes. White animals are another love.

What makes me crave these things?  Do you have obsessions too? Is it better to just accept these desires or should we analyse why we have them? Would the mystery be gone then?

I am home

Florida was a nice little break. Souffle-Marie helped me pack--mainly by sitting on all my stuff. Do you see the pink suitcase? You can pick me out in a crowd- -I am the woman covered in cat hair or lint brushing herself.  C'est moi!

Anyway, one thing I love about Florida besides my friends there are the wonderful and very PINK sunsets almost nightly. Also so many pink stucco homes I love that too!

I must drift into a pink dreamland now

Little vacation and blog break

Have a lovely week. I am on a short vacation to Florida to visit friends, eat pink food, and go snapper fishing one day. I will probably fit in a visit to a tea salon and some shopping too!
