I have been thinking about redecorating the formal living room. I think this is the look I will try to achieve. Beige and gold with hints of pink. I will never give up my Aubusson needlepoint area rug but it already has those colors so making the sofas more neutral and just color on silk drapery and 2 chairs should be enough and be more soothing. Is it because I am getting older that I want to have a calmer space? I will keep my eye open for more photos that have the "look" I want. Maybe Pink Boy will say go ahead next year to redoing !
