Tablescape Thursday is here We are dining outside today.

Please join Susan at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ for more table scapes

I love creating spring tables! I have a lot of spring items and bunnies for the table. Tonight I set the table outside again in the soft evening light. Things are just beginning to open in the garden, the fish are fat and swimming about. The early plants like candy tuft and baptista are in bloom. The clematis is shooting up.

Pink Boy likes to dine outside especially now when the bugs are not around. I have actually considered getting yards of netting and hanging it over the patio area. The ceiling fan helps push the bugs away.

I baked a bunny cake but didn't have time to frost it. So you are seeing a before shot of it. I use a pound cake recipe because it makes up nicer with a firm cake. We are not going to eat it. I put it in dining room for display. I dressed her up with an organza ribbon and Easter straw

I have a new love--ornamental oregano-- see it in the cabbage bowl as the centerpiece? Just bought it today They said it will last about two weeks then it dries green and purple perfect and I will save it and use it in my tiny Christmas tree with my dried flowers.

The plates are new from Boxwoods in Buckhead very inexpensive. The tureens and little pink fluted bowls are from Home Goods.

Have a Pink day!
