My blush crush continues...

 Even Ke$ha likes blush!

From under garments to over garments, accessories, shoes , and even interior design I have a huge crush on blush! It has been around for awhile now even in winter fashions.

So many lovely blush things to enjoy

Things I am smitten with..

Just a few fun things that I like or that I am longing for-- some eye candy today.
Dragon napkins from No. 411 in Savannah on my holiday wish list!!

A tea caddy I just got so pretty

Just a few things that caught my eye in last week or so. The clematis on the bottom is Princess Alexandra and seems to be sold out at all the vendors in USA! Maybe I can buy it next year. Pink Boy did some "pruning " of my huge white Henri clematis that I have had for years at the edge of the arbor and it appears to be gone! Men like to cut stuff off too much!!

Paris on my mind

Always thinking of Paris and what is happening there. Many good exhibits at the moment and gardens in bloom.  I miss the color of the rooftops and the iron work. Miss the window displays and the rows of pastry in the cases. I wish everyone who wants to go to Paris could go it is truly beautiful.

Dreaming of gardens

Oh how I long for spring breezes and warmer days. I just discovered this last plant the white moonlight flower it is called.Never saw it before. I'm not sure what it is but I would like to try it.
My head is dancing with ideas for the new garden beds most in pink and white flowers and a few shrubs throw in for texture.
I would love to be in France for Easter to see the shop windows and what is blooming then.

Petit Trianon home to Marie Antoinette's heart

Marie Antoinette's little court of her heart
Those lucky few that were part of Marie Antoinette's inner circle were allowed to visit Petit Trianon with her. A gift from her husband in 1774 the Petit Trianon was originally built for the King Louis XIV mistress Madame de Pompadour. She died before it was completed and Madame du Barry his next mistress enjoyed it. Marie Antoinette used it as an escape from the pressures of court life and it is a little Neoclassical jewel right on the grounds of Versailles.
It is my favorite spot to visit at the Chateau , for me, its appeal is the human scale of the retreat and the setting. I think when the Queen visited she was more herself and relaxed.

Swan obsession continues

Always looking for swan images and ideas. These pointe shoes are wonderful. I would love to try and make some of my own. Swans are so ethereal and the shoes just may help you soar across the stage!

A winter walk in Paris... bundle up!

My favorite spot in the snow Pont Alexandre III

Snow makes the world beautiful and purified. Snow is especially lovely in Paris.
Paris does not typically get a lot of snow but when it does it is magical.
