Two sassy ladies have arrived

These two beauties have arrived!!

They were made by Sharon Mitchell of the web site Cloth Dolls with Attitude. They came all the way from New Zealand! The one with white hair is Marie Antoinette and the redhead is moi ! Ha
They are living in the master bedroom right now and will surely adorn the Marie Antoinette tree this year in some way.
I can't thank Sharon Mitchell enough for making them for me. I was going to make them myself but my sewing skills are not up to this level of stitchery.
They really are little works of art.

Check out her website she does some truly amazing dolls.

Princess Swan has arrived

Swans are  so magical and graceful. This is my new Princess Swan by artist Alice Mary Lynch of the UK.
Princess Swan will live in my enchanted armoire and at Pinkmas time come out and rein over the swans around the swan tree.
Princess Swan is made of lace and tulle and sequins, and love.

Glittery decoupage eggs made for a Queen

Just a few of the eggs I've been making lately. Images from Pinterest or off cards. I like to pretend they are type of eggs Marie Antoinette would have received in her Easter celebrations.
I used the paper mache  eggs that open, spray painted and glittered after I decoupaged the image onto the painted egg. Then I trimmed with ribbons and paper flowers.

Puppet Marie Antoinette

My puppet Marie Antoinette arrived today. I purchased her from talented artist Laura Lee  Burch from her Etsy shop here:
https://www.etsy.com/shop/lauraleeburch

She is queen of my closet and will also be used near the Marie Antoinette holiday tree this year. She is perfect down to her blue Habsburg eyes.
She is a felted needle piece.
I love her pink dress and her updo adorned with pearls.
