Last Sunday I decided to write a few letters--I do have friends who don't email -- it is fun writing letters.

In a previous post I showed some of my monogram items and here is my latest idea. I did the picture stamps on line and made a monogram postage stamp! So fun.

The little tea cup with legs has no markings. I found it in a local vintage shop. So while I wrote my letters I had tea and cookies and enjoyed sitting among my flowers. When my lavender is in bloom, as it is now, I like to put a few sprigs of fresh lavender into the letters I write. A small treat for the recipient.

It is such a pleasure to sit outside , see and hear the birds and write or read. Fortunately, I have several benches in different spots so I can usually find a shady spot to sit any time of the day.

Monograms are so much fun. I have some other ideas in my head for more uses of the monogram.

Have a Pink day!

  2. Hi Marie,
What a pretty bench and your monograms are very nice! Love the three footed tea cup. I always think of France when I visit you. My youngest son is over there right now at a Math conference; lucky ducky! He's been showing his photos of the Eiffel Tower and I'm so envious! Thank you for joining me for tea today. It's lovely having you!

    Blessings,
    Sandi
