Douglasville garden tour June 4 and 5th

We had the pleasure of going on the tour for the third year. It is always a treat and different garden types are always represented. Despite near 100 degree heat we visited all the gardens and had a nice lunch.

The creativity of gardeners is always amazing and intriguing. One gardener takes old, rusty garden tools and turns them into garden art she also makes unique little vignettes under glass and scatters them around the garden. Her garden was first one I ever saw that had chandeliers and window frames hanging around.

Tara Bradford reworked her garden house( shown on last years post) and added an outdoor bathtub and this rustic table setting. So fun and how did she remember I liked pink so much. Wouldn't it be refreshing and pleasant to take a bath in that pink tub outdoors? More from the tour in another post. The tour continues on Sunday if you want to go. There are about 7 gardens on the tour.

Making your world pretty and being in touch with nature is part of my philosophy of "pink living".

Have a Pink day!
