More pink planting and a pinked tote

Pink Saturday again join Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for more pink posts

Well the first rush of blooms finished last week and we are having a long dry heat wave over 100 most days. It is time to fill in the beds with some more color to take us through the fall. It helps to have a pretty trowel and wooden tote to carry the plants.

I found the woven tote at Target for 1.00 added my own ribbon and a silk peony and now it will be my tote to carry on garden tours. Making my garden pinker is so delightful.

Have a Pink day!

  1. Two great pinks. The flowers are having a hard time now as it is very hot here too.

  9. What a charming blog you have. I enjoyed your muguet post. Luckily I was in France this year on May 1st and was given some muguet. You can see my post on it here: http://avagabonde.blogspot.com/2011/04/blog-intermission-entracte-no-10-may.html. Pink is always a happy color – like the song “La Vie en Rose.”
