Pink casserole dish and dinner

Home Goods pink casserole dish love the wavy edges. I made the floral centerpiece

Show and Tell Friday
I know we are not to show recipes really but I am highlighting my new PINK casserole dish and bunny creamer.
Please stop by My Romantic Home to see more show and tell:
I got this cute casserole dish at Home Goods and wanted to use it right away so I made a chicken and veggie casserole for Pink Boy. It came out well and we had a lot of veggies in the casserole. I served it with a small salad and fresh iced tea.
I am participating in Foodie Friday click here to see other recipes:

Here it is --so simple to make:

Marie Arden's Casserole

1 cooked chicken from your local Costco or deli no skin all meat cut up in small bites

1 cup peas ( I use the steamer ones from Birds Eye

1 cup carrots diced up fresh

1 cup broccoli cut up small steamed

1 cup corn ( again steamers)

1 package no cholesterol noodles cooked or you could use 3 cups of cooked rice

Make a sauce after assembling all the other ingredients in a large bowl.

Sauce:

1 stick butter melted

1 cup sifted flour stirred slowly into melted butter

add 1/2 cup wine slowly white wine

then add 1 cup milk slowly

add salt, pepper and fresh cut chives to your taste

I also add about 1/2 t. nutmeg to the sauce YUM

Spray casserole with bakers ease spray first then add mixture

Bake at 375 in casserole dish for about 30-40 minutes.

I added a little cheese and panko to top it off.

Bubble bath Tea Time a bit unconventional but fun

Time for a pink bubble bath and some tea and treats
My ceramic Asian style stool holds the tea tray

A view of the tub from my old papier mache vanity from San Francisco

The bottle of bubbly is bubble bath, cookies are European Pims cookies
Tea strainer from Savannah Silver Shop and a Waterford jar
I am surrounded by things I love while in the tub

Swan monogrammed cocktail napkins and my new/old silver tea tray

A Bubble Bath Tea!

I am afraid I cheated a bit this Tablescape Thursday but the little stool is sort of a little tea table.
A relaxing bubble bath is sometimes just the thing needed to relax, refresh or calm a migraine. Why not take tea while in the bath? I love my pretty PINK bathroom and my new chinoiserie ceramic stool is the perfect place to put the tea tray!

Sometimes I play some classical music and just soak and sip my tea. I tend to like black or white teas . Teas flavored with rose, jasmine or vanilla are always fun. Tea does seem to help when I have a migraine. I am serious about tea and I enjoy a tea break almost in any spot.
Visit Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for tablescapes and rest assured next I will have a new table

Please visit these other tea spots today.

Object of desire

I really wish I did not have the jewelry gene. Some women never care about jewelry. I love it! I love big bold pieces, pearls, pink tourmalines, green peridot (my birthstone) topaz too.

This, new to me, designer Ward Kelvin has caught my eye. I love these earrings and will call soon to find out price--maybe if I work two jobs?

I love all girly things, silver, china, fine linens, make up, pink suits, SHOES ahhmm maybe it would be better to list what I do not like!

Pink and Green Saturday and pinkness all around

I love these ceramic egg boxes from HomeGoods if you find them buy it for me I will reimburse you
They are so me pink and green and white and a BOW!!

This little lettuce box is always out in family room which happens to be pink and green!

Happy Pink Saturday
In honor of St Patrick's Day we are doing a Pink and Green post today

Also today I need your help. If anyone finds these ceramic egg boxes ( top photo) at a HomeGoods/TJ Maxx store please buy them for me and I will reimburse you for them and shipping too. I fell in love and have gone to all of them locally to no avail. I got all I could. If you find them you can email me or leave me a comment.

The charming little ceramic houses were a purchase very early on in our marriage. We lived in Florida and I could just see them sitting on my kitchen counter top.

They have moved with us in our many relocations. Just looking at them reminds me of the sun in Florida and how grown up I felt buying things for our new apartment. I have always loved pink and just started buying things in pink for the house too, never thinking that it was odd to buy so much in pink. Pink goes with any other color I think.

Blog business cards by Elaine Biss for Show and Tell Friday

I loved the font I chose and the pretty pinkness of the card- -so me

I thought I was the only person to do business cards for her blog. But Cindy at My Romantic Home has them for her blog too. My handwriting is awful if someone asks for my blog address it is just easier to give them my card. I don't want anyone to need glasses on my account.

Here is the link to Cindy's blog to see other things for Show and Tell Friday!

Elaine Biss is a talented artist and has an on-line site to order paper goods, business and personal cards and other things. http://elainebiss.com/ reasonable pricing and quick delivery .

I am very happy with the way they turned out and I feel they give someone an idea of what to expect from my blog. It used to be that a stationery wardrobe was just as important to a woman as her clothing wardrobe. But sadly, for most people, that nice little thing has fallen by the wayside. No one teaches you about this but I still try to keep some of the "old school" standards alive in my pink world. I still write real letters and still have calling and business type cards. Part of my philosophy of living pink!

Puppy Garden Tea Party for Tablescape Thursday

Come join us for a fun tea with Sydney, Simone and Sophie-Marie
Where is Simone-Marie? Isn't she going to come and take tea?

Sophie-Marie and Sydney-Marie wait patiently for tea

Tablescape Thursday is here again! Please join Susan at Between Naps on the Porch

http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/

My tablescape is outdoors this time with my girls.
Target tea set and little pull cart and hamper

My girls love to have tea in the garden. They love their little pull cart too. Our back garden is small but it is just large enough for a little dog to feel she is out in the big world. Sadly, little Sophie-Marie (purple bow) has gone over the rainbow bridge but we still love to look at photos with all three girls.

I posted some of these pictures of their tea party last year but they look so sweet and as we are all holding our breath waiting for Spring to arrive I thought you would enjoy these.
Look at previous posts in the last week for more Pinkness

Tea Things Tuesday

A new little nut dish and hand painted napkin. Carol at Paris Breakfasts had these rosebuds too
Rosebuds for putting in tea I like a white or black tea with the rose buds.

Fun from Vienna too cute to ever eat!

Tuesday is here again and I have some pink treats to share. I love all my tea things and many of them do double duty as other things. The two meringue elephants were purchased in Vienna many years ago. They have survived so well . I could never bring myself to eat them too cute!
Some old Haviland tea cups in a jar just for fun.
Stop by on Thursday for a new tablescape and visit Between Naps on the Porch for a other fun tablescapes.
