These are just scrumptious!!They truly are rooms for dreaming. How could you not sleep well or dream beautifully in a bed like these? I am just fascinated with tented, canopied, lit a la polonaise style beds. Such a cozy ambiance and in earlier times so practical on one hand and so showy and rich on other--beds were often in each room even in grander households so to drape a bed richly and to have a big bed just showed everyone how wealthy and important you were.
These examples look like something Charlotte Moss or Carolyne Roehm would design. Top one is Ms. Roehm's design in fact.
Have a Pink day!
The way I sleep, I could never sleep in a room like this. These are more for looks than use.

The romantic in me loves the canopys but the homemaker in me thinks, "just look at all those dust collectors!" But they are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a blessed New Year.
