April showers bring May flowers and we have had many showers. I keep going outside to check all my peony and iris plants and the buds are fat and still growing. Thank God for the April showers. Here is my door decoration for April. I switch it out to an Easter door right before Easter. The umbrella is an old one from Estee Lauder it has a woman with red hair on it. I carried it for years.It was a give away. I had to cheat and use silk flowers since real ones would wilt so quickly. These pink peonies give a nice soft feeling and I hope a welcoming touch. Growing over the doorway are pink roses and clematis.
