Tutorial Three Tier Wire Herb Planter

I had the wire planter( from Home Goods last spring) and was inspired by one I saw on the Madison Tour of Homes
First I lined the tiered baskets with moss, then some paper towel to keep the soil from falling out.
Pink Boy helped me plant all the herbs.

I thought it would be cute to put mint and pink calibrachoa on the top tier.
When fall comes I will move my herb garden inside to the kitchen counter. Right now it is under our patio arbor so it gets just filtered sun. I use herbs a lot in cooking and I planted them in with some of the flowers in the beds and in the potager garden in the back.
I planted curry, rosemary, French tarragon, varigated basil, cat mint, thyme, tricolor sage and oregano.

I love your choices and the color is so gorgeous. What a wonderful way to grow and display your herbs.

I have a basket simular to this one. I have been trying to figure out what to plant. I thought I would plant rose mose in mine and let it grown and hang. I wanted it for the patio.

Have a glorious Mother's Day weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
