Pink Saturday and fashion of times past

Happy Pink Saturday!

Travel back in time to the 18th century French court. The colors and laces and ribbons were amazing. Dressing was an art and an indication of social position.I loved all the details and the drama of court dressing. The hand fans, masks for grand balls, hair ornaments and matching shoes were all carefully thought out.

Enjoy the pinkness of it.

Have a Pink day!

What a beautiful post. Oh my goodness I love traveling back in time, and this post is SO gorgeous. I love the mask and feather, and how beautiful the purse and gloves are. So dainty and Victorian. LOVE it. Can you imagine the dinners and dances that were help during this time? What fun. I loved this movie. Thank you for sharing with me this evening. I loved this post. Just beautiful sweet friend. Just beautiful. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
