Pink Saturday and fashion of times past

Happy Pink Saturday!

Travel back in time to the 18th century French court. The colors and laces and ribbons were amazing. Dressing was an art and an indication of social position.I loved all the details and the drama of court dressing. The hand fans, masks for grand balls, hair ornaments and matching shoes were all carefully thought out.

Enjoy the pinkness of it.

  3. The ladies back in that time frame believed in dressing in high fashion.

  4. They sure knew how to dress in those days. Lavish and feminine. Lovely pinks as always, Marie! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Pink Saturday weekend.
