It is officially strawberry time! At Laduree in Paris and NY you can order their new dessert the strawberry. It is made with coconut dacquoise layered with strawberry preserve and strawberry mousseline cream. They also still have their wonderful Fraiser strawberry dessert as well.
Most of the Paris patisseries do a special summer dessert .
Carol Gillot of Paris Breakfasts blog (see link on right) is caught up in strawberry fever as well. Her June letter came yesterday full of her wonderful drawings of desserts and berries!

Hi Marie, my birthday was on June 21 and I had a most yummy strawberry cake, the strawberries were sooo fresh, I had a bigggggg piece...lol.....beautiful post my friend as always.
