Roses of Paris

Iron roses
Protected-gated roses?

Window display paper roses

Formal roses in an oh so French style garden--Love it!

Roses of Paris
Paris is a very rosey city! When I got home and looked at all the photos I took I realized how many had roses (pink ususally) in them. This is not counting the actual photos I snapped of roses in containers outside floral shops. Just a few samples above to prove my point.

I love the iron roses on the gate! What a visual treat that is. I forget where that photo came from I think I found it on tumblr.

Bridal magazines are a favorite. I love to see the gowns and rings and pretty pink things. I also love the china they often show. I am happy to see more color in bridal gowns and many times the color is PINK!

On a hot summer day I will dream away the hours looking at magazines. I thought this "bridal gown" by YSL was such a clever end to a couture show.

What do you think?

Foxgloves and roses

It is so hard for me not to show you my garden. It is where I am happiest. I went on a garden tour last weekend and it was fun but I still liked my garden best !
I just planted more roses and pink yarrow. The photos of foxgloves above are from the tour and the white arbor is in my garden. My goal is when looking around the border of the back garden you see all pink/white in every section with a few little purple saliva or lavender or allium mixed in for contrast.

I think foxglove by the arbor is the world's tallest foxglove- -a mutant foxglove that reseeded and keeps growing! It is at least 5 foot tall. Too bad it is not pink one.

Have a PINK day!
